| I think the new Noctilux is a limited edition with only a few hundred made? That was what I was told by a Leica dealer in TST.
Too bad it is not a 24/1.4 to take advantage of the M8 framelines. |

Depends on how good this lens is going to be but I am interested. I am just going to have to sell off some stuff. A f/1.4 wide angle is going to off set the poor high iso performance of the M8. |

| Is the Noc. 0.95 easier to produce than the Noc. 1.0? If yes, why it will cost that sky high price? If not, why don't continue to produce Noc. 1.0? Strange marketing and production strategy..... |

| Noctilux f/1 stop to produce because no more glasses material will be supplied. It is also the same reason of the end of Summilux 75mm.
Optical design of new Noctilux f/0.95 was based on new material. This is not Leica's marketing strategy. This is the limitation from the real world: resource is always limited. |
